The Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center (SACAC) operates within the Pima County Interagency Center (IAC), offering various forms of support to children in crisis. Nina Borgia-Aberle was commissioned to create the public art for the IAC, drawing on the theme of the mandala as a healing tool. 

Following the completion of that project, the director of SACAC asked Nina to design donor recognition art for their ongoing capital campaign. The resulting piece, titled "Healing Mandala," is crafted from water jet-cut and sandblasted stone, continuing the mandala theme as a symbol of transformation.
