Nina attended the 18th Annual Nonprofit Conference on Sustainability Strategies at the Arizona State University Campus Lodestar Center in October 2010. The conference, titled “From Red to Black, Innovative Thinking for Generating Income and Resources” was very inspiring. Nina will be attending the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) 2011 Arizona annual conference this summer in Tucson.
Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Facility Expansion
The mission of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is to advocate for an provide services to help grow member's businesses; it is the gateway to business success and economic advancement. Their core values are diversity, success and leadership. Currently they are expanding their building facility in Tucson. Nina has designed a wall system that allows for the addition of separate panels as donors continue to give to the Chamber. She is using the THCC logo (a sun) as well as water and flowers in her design to symbolize that the Chamber helps grows member's businesses.
